Leslie Jones North little rock Concert reviews
Extraordinary Voice, Ordinary Show
Location: The people are unbelievably friendly and the drinks are cheap. Reading seems like a pretty cool place. Venue: Again with the friendliness and cheap drinks. Not a very large arena - makes it a more intimate show, however, the crowd on this night weren't very loud on the one side nor did they stand up even. I would go back to that venue and give it one more try. The songs are well written, we all knew that going in. Song Specifics: We were hoping they would play "Over You," which they didn't. "Used to" reaches a great crescendo after the first chorus and this live version didn't; I was really looking forward to that moment and it didn't come. His voice is amazing but it wasn't displayed very well. The volume on his microphone was just not loud enough for its magnitude in the 'inbetween songs' (not the ballads and not the hectic rock ones). Conclusion: After two more tours and two more albums under Leslie Jones' belt, we will go back and see him again. More experience brings a better show...Ask Green Day.
